I want to remind you about some critical tax deadlines approaching for your 2024 IRS return, which you’ll submit in 2025.
Don’t let them slip by—let’s get to it!
By January 31, 2025
Reporting of received rental income through the submission of Form 44
If you are a landlord or have a family member who is exempt or has chosen not to use electronic rental receipts, you (or that family member) must submit this declaration by reporting the rental income received during the year 2024.
By February 17, 2025
Household Composition Declaration
You must report updated information about your household as of 12/31/2024.
By February 25, 2025
Invoice Confirmation
By this date, you should check the e-fatura portal to ensure that all invoices issued in your name have been reported to the Tax Authority, ensuring they will be automatically considered in the calculation of your IRS.
If you confirm that you have invoices issued with your taxpayer number, but they are not listed on the e-fatura portal, you can register them.
By February 28, 2025
Domestic Workers – Income Tax Declaration
Submission of the “Model 10” IRS form by February 28. What is this?
If you have a domestic worker, the wages you pay them, as well as the contributions paid to Social Security during the year 2024, must be reported and submitted to the Tax Authority through this declaration.
You won’t pay any taxes on this declaration; it’s purely informative.
From April 1 to June 30, 2025
Submission of the IRS tax return
This is the BIG deadline for submitting the Model 3 income tax return – the IRS DECLARATION. For taxpayers who meet the conditions for automatic IRS, after this deadline, the Tax Authority (AT) will consider the return as valid.
To sum up:
These steps are important for you to go through this tax filing phase smoothly.
Think of each date as a step towards your IRS being ready for submission.
Shall we get on with it?
Go for it,
